The Original Tomb Raider Adventures
The Tomb Raider series began in 1996, introducing Lara Croft as an instantly recognisable new gaming icon. The original Tomb Raider, followed by Tomb Raider II and Tomb Raider III, established the formula of exploration, platforming, puzzles and combat across ancient ruins and dangerous archaeological sites.
The adventures continued with Tomb Raider IV: The Last Revelation, which took Lara to Egypt for one of her most ambitious expeditions. Tomb Raider Chronicles revisited stories from Lara’s past, while The Angel of Darkness brought the series to Paris for a darker and more mysterious adventure.
These early games helped establish the distinctive identity of Tomb Raider and turned Lara Croft into one of the most famous characters in video games.
The Legend Era
Crystal Dynamics reinvented Tomb Raider with Tomb Raider: Legend, giving Lara a new visual style while returning the series to its exploration-focused roots. The game followed Lara’s search for the legendary sword Excalibur and introduced a more streamlined approach to traversal, puzzles and combat.
Tomb Raider: Anniversary returned to the origins of the series, reimagining the original 1996 adventure with modern technology and redesigned environments. Tomb Raider: Underworld then continued Lara’s story, taking her across the globe as she investigated the mysteries surrounding her mother’s disappearance.
Together, these games form an important chapter in the evolution of Lara Croft and Tomb Raider.
The Survivor Trilogy
The series was transformed once again with Tomb Raider (2013). This reboot presented a younger Lara at the beginning of her journey, following her expedition to the mysterious island of Yamatai and the events that forced her to become the determined survivor fans would recognise.
Rise of the Tomb Raider expanded the formula with a larger world and a new expedition into Siberia, where Lara searched for the legendary Divine Source while competing against the organisation Trinity.
The trilogy concluded with Shadow of the Tomb Raider, taking Lara to South America as she raced to uncover the secrets of the Maya civilisation. The game brought together exploration, stealth, environmental puzzles and tombs on a larger scale, completing Lara’s transformation into the experienced adventurer seen throughout the modern series.
A Collection Spanning Lara Croft’s Entire Journey
From the blocky environments of the original PlayStation games to the cinematic presentation of the Survivor trilogy, Tomb Raider has continually reinvented itself while retaining its focus on exploration, discovery and adventure.
This collection of Tomb Raider wall art brings together all three major eras of the series. With posters representing the original trilogy, The Last Revelation, Chronicles, The Angel of Darkness, the Legend era and the Survivor trilogy, you can build a collection that reflects your favourite chapter of Lara Croft’s story.
Whether Tomb Raider was part of your childhood gaming collection or you discovered Lara through the modern reboot, these prints are designed to look great individually or displayed together as a matching gaming collection.
Minimalist Gaming Wall Art
Each Tomb Raider poster is designed with a clean, minimalist approach that takes inspiration from the original game’s artwork and visual identity. Rather than filling the design with unnecessary detail, the artwork focuses on recognisable imagery and the distinctive presentation associated with each game.
Available in A4 and A3, these prints make an easy addition to a gaming room, office, bedroom or dedicated collection of video game wall art.
