Shadow of the Tomb Raider takes Lara into some of the most remote and dangerous environments of the Survivor trilogy.
The dense jungles of Peru and Mexico provide a very different setting from the Siberian wilderness of Rise of the Tomb Raider. Lara must navigate underwater passages, ancient ruins, hidden tombs and elaborate traps while using her environment to survive.
The game also places greater emphasis on exploration and tomb raiding, bringing the series’ archaeological roots back to the forefront. Lara’s ability to climb, swim, hunt and move stealthily through the environment all play a major role in her journey.
The Final Chapter of the Survivor Trilogy
Shadow of the Tomb Raider completes the story that began with the Tomb Raider (2013) and continued through the events of the Rise of the Tomb Raider.
Across the three games, Lara’s journey takes her from an inexperienced young woman struggling to survive on Yamatai to an experienced adventurer confronting ancient civilisations, powerful organisations and the consequences of her own choices.
