Four Iconic Tomb Raider Adventures
The collection begins with the original Tomb Raider, released in 1996 and introducing Lara Croft to the world. From ancient ruins and lost civilisations to deadly traps and dinosaurs, Lara’s first adventure established the exploration, puzzle-solving and action that would define the series.
Tomb Raider II followed in 1997, taking Lara across a much wider range of locations as she pursued the legendary Dagger of Xian. Its larger environments, new vehicles and expanded action helped establish Lara as one of the biggest characters in gaming.
With Tomb Raider III, the series continued to push Lara into new environments and more varied adventures. Released in 1998, the game took players from India and the South Pacific to London and Antarctica, offering one of the most diverse journeys of the original trilogy.
The collection concludes with Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation, released in 1999. Set largely among the ancient ruins and temples of Egypt, the fourth mainline adventure returned to a more focused archaeological setting and delivered one of the most memorable stories of Lara’s original era.
