Resident Evil 7: Biohazard
The journey begins with Resident Evil 7, which represented one of the biggest changes in the series’ history. Released in 2017, it moved the action into a first-person perspective and stripped the series back to a much more intimate and terrifying experience.
Ethan Winters travels to the isolated Baker estate in search of his missing wife, Mia, only to become trapped with the horrifying Baker family. Jack, Marguerite and Lucas Baker each bring their own brand of madness to the story, while the mysterious Eveline and the Mold reveal a much deeper threat beneath the surface.

Resident Evil Village
Resident Evil Village continues Ethan’s story while dramatically expanding the scale of the world around him. Released in 2021, Village moves away from the confined Baker estate and into a mysterious European village surrounded by snow, gothic architecture and horrifying creatures.
Ethan’s search for his daughter Rosemary takes him through Castle Dimitrescu and the territories controlled by figures including Lady Dimitrescu, Donna Beneviento, Salvatore Moreau and Karl Heisenberg. At the centre of the mystery is Mother Miranda, whose plans reveal just how deeply Ethan has become connected to the events surrounding the village.

Resident Evil Requiem
The collection continues with Resident Evil Requiem, introducing a new protagonist while bringing one of the series’ most recognisable characters back into the story.
Grace Ashcroft finds herself investigating a disturbing mystery that draws her into the darker side of the Resident Evil universe. Alongside her is Leon S. Kennedy, connecting Requiem to the wider history of the franchise and giving longtime fans another familiar face to follow.
Our Resident Evil Requiem poster is based around the game’s key art, featuring Grace holding a torch in the foreground while Leon appears behind her. The contrast between the two characters creates a particularly striking image and reflects the mystery at the heart of the game.
Three Games, One Collection
Together, Resident Evil 7, Village and Requiem represent an interesting period in the evolution of the series.
Resident Evil 7 brought the franchise back towards pure survival horror and introduced Ethan Winters. Village expanded that story into a much larger gothic adventure, combining horror with action and exploration. Requiem then moves the series forward again, introducing Grace Ashcroft while reconnecting the story to established characters such as Leon.
The three games therefore make a natural collection — not simply because they are consecutive modern releases, but because they show how Resident Evil continues to experiment with its characters, settings and approach to horror.
